George Corbyn

George is a Senior Architect who has worked on a number of unique projects for Buro Bitus including Gangneung Hockey Centre in South Korea. George has experience of leading design teams, and has operated as Project Architect on projects.

George’s experience includes working in both the UK and Russia, and is currently based in our Edinburgh office. George’s main role is design team management, and has experience working across all design stages, from competition stage to completion, with a variety of different design team members and consultant specialties.

George’s interest in design and the built environment lies in innovation and problem solving, and employing new methods, or applying new techniques to solving design obstacles. George is also interested in the detail of how design ideas physically come together, and enjoys model making and drawing to aid solving problems.
