Koltsovo International Airport expansion

The design is intended to accommodate the airport’s growing capacity while meeting the changing demands of passengers and airlines for years to come.

Having been built in 1993, the airport now caters to more passengers than it was originally designed for. In addition to the existing number of passengers, the city’s future plans include new railway link into the airport. The winning masterplan also includes a new terminal entrance, a multilevel carpark and an iconic canopy, allowing all the proposed buildings and the existing terminal to become a natural part of the airport.

Once completed in 2023, the first stage of the project will include additional amenities, a more efficient check in process and ample space for passenger amenities and an efficient security screening process.
