The Guardians of Ural - Mixed-Use High-Rise Complex

Location: Ekaterinburg, Russia
Area: 120 000m2
Client: UGMK
Appointment: 2024
Stage: From concept to completion
Service: Architecture, Master Planning, Landscape

A multifunctional high-rise complex located in the central part of Ekaterinburg, within the boundaries of Tatischeva and Pirogova streets, with a total above-ground area of over 105,000 m2.

The concept is inspired by the mysterious stone towers known as the Manpupuner Rock Formations, located in the remote Ural Mountains of Russia. Each formation rises between 100 and 150 feet tall, like ancient guardians of the wilderness.

The complex consists of three residential towers with heights of 100 m and 150 m, a low-rise residential building, an office building, and a shopping center, all connected by a shared stylobate housing retail spaces and a multi-level parking garage (2 underground and 2 above-ground levels).

The project also includes a two-story kindergarten and club building.

The completion of the first phase of construction is scheduled for 2030.
